TianyiTerms of Service
1. What the service is
Tianyi provides content and conversation grounded in traditional Chinese astrology: we compute a chart from the birth details you provide, combine it with the date, and generate interpretive text and suggestions.
This content is for reference and self-reflection only. It is not professional advice and promises no outcome. For matters involving medical or mental health, law, tax, investment or any other significant decision, consult an appropriately qualified professional. Tianyi is not a medical device and does not provide crisis intervention; in an emergency, contact your local emergency services or a crisis line.
2. Accounts
You may use Tianyi anonymously, in which case your data is tied to the device. Linking an Apple or Google account carries your data across your devices.
You are responsible for the security of any third-party account you link. If you unlink all methods or lose access to that account, we may be unable to restore your data.
3. Subscriptions and one-time purchases

- Free allowance — without a subscription you get a limited number of conversation turns per day. Once exhausted, replies stop until the next day.
- Billing and renewal — collected by the Apple App Store or Google Play. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the end of the current period, and the store charges you ahead of each renewal.
- Cancellation — manage this in your device's store subscription settings. Access continues for the remainder of the paid period and does not renew after that.
- Refunds — handled by Apple or Google under their own policies; we cannot issue refunds directly. Entitlements are revoked when a purchase is refunded or reversed.
- Price changes — announced in advance; how they take effect for existing subscribers follows the store's rules.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- reverse engineer, scrape, automate at scale, or circumvent the free allowance or purchase verification;
- submit another person's personal information without their consent;
- use the service for unlawful purposes, or to provide paid astrology consulting to others;
- interfere with the service, or attempt to access other users' data.
We may restrict or terminate your access if you breach these rules.
5. Your content
What you write remains yours. To operate the service you grant us the licence necessary to store and process it (see the Privacy Policy for specifics). Text Tianyi generates is for your personal use; we make no guarantee that it is original or unique to you.
6. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Features may change or be withdrawn; if we withdraw something you have paid for, we will handle the entitlement under the store's rules.
7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions you make in reliance on its content, or their consequences.
8. Termination
You may stop using Tianyi, delete the app, or delete your account at any time under Me → Account → Delete account. Deleting your account is not a refund and does not cancel a subscription — see the Privacy Policy. We may terminate the service if you materially breach these terms. Paid entitlements are handled under the store's rules after termination.
9. Changes to these terms
When these terms change we update the "Last updated" date at the top; material changes are surfaced in the app. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept it.
